ESET Unveils Innovative eCrime Reports to Enhance Cybersecurity Strategies Against Threats

by admin477351

ESET, a prominent name in the cybersecurity sector, has unveiled its latest addition, the eCrime Reports, as part of its Threat Intelligence portfolio. Acknowledging the growing challenge businesses face with the complexity and rise of ransomware and information-stealing malware, ESET’s new offering aims to meet the increasing demand for top-tier cyber threat intelligence. These eCrime Reports provide businesses with a comprehensive view of cyber incidents, offering insights into attack timelines, regional telemetry, and even affiliate-level attack visibility.

Roman Kováč, ESET’s Chief Research Officer, emphasized the company’s long-standing commitment to cybersecurity over the past three decades. He highlighted that the eCrime Reports offer a blend of detailed technical information and strategic defense guidance, informed by ESET’s global threat researchers. The reports are designed to empower law enforcement, IT, and security teams with actionable insights, enabling them to anticipate and counteract threats, particularly focusing on ransomware and infostealers.

The eCrime Reports are available in two tiers: the ESET Threat Intelligence eCrime Reports and the more advanced version. These reports harness proprietary data and telemetry, offering unique perspectives on real-world cyber intrusions. By analyzing tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), the reports reveal hidden clusters of cybercriminal activity, enhancing decision-making in combating cybercrime. Beyond merely monitoring as-a-service platforms and dedicated leak sites, the reports can be enhanced with ESET’s proprietary intelligence feeds, covering a range of threats from ransomware to phishing.

Kováč underscored the importance of quality in threat intelligence, noting that ESET’s services allow organizations to cut through the noise of vast datasets, helping them quickly identify and prioritize new risks. This efficiency provides more time for incident response and fortifying defenses. The eCrime Reports feature a range of tools, including an AI advisor for advanced users and direct integration with a MISP server to streamline threat intelligence processes.

The release of these reports adds to ESET’s Threat Intelligence portfolio, which also includes Premium APT Reports. These reports offer in-depth analyses of global advanced persistent threats, including those linked to state-aligned groups. As ESET prepares for the RSAC 2026 cybersecurity tradeshow, the company invites attendees to visit booth N-5253 for demonstrations and discussions with their threat experts.
