INDIANAPOLIS—Wildfire smoke is choking communities across North America—but Carrier is stepping up to help people breathe easier. With tips, tools, and advanced IAQ tech, Carrier is on a mission to protect families and businesses when outdoor air turns toxic.
The company recommends running HVAC systems on recirculation mode, sealing doors and windows, and using air purifiers with HEPA and carbon filters to block smoke particles and odors.
“Wildfire smoke doesn’t stop at your front door—it gets inside. That’s why we’re delivering solutions to make indoor spaces safer,” said Nick Arch of Carrier.
Carrier’s portfolio includes IAQ assessments, advanced filtration, and portable purifiers. Earlier this year, the company backed up its commitment with a $2.5 million donation of air purifiers to Los Angeles schools, hospitals, and first responders.
