by admin477351

Qatar’s National Committee for International Humanitarian Law signed a cooperation agreement with the International Institute of Humanitarian Law in Italy, aimed at strengthening training, research, and expertise in the field of international humanitarian law.

The agreement establishes joint training programs, research initiatives, and the exchange of lecturers and specialists. Both sides plan to build on existing studies and projects to advance understanding and implementation of humanitarian law.

The partnership is expected to enhance capacity-building for both civilian and military personnel, helping develop a qualified national cadre of trainers and lecturers. It also reinforces Qatar’s commitment to supporting global efforts to protect civilians in armed conflicts and to promote respect for humanitarian principles at national and regional levels.
