Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani inaugurated the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 during a ceremony held at Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor City on Monday. The event marked the official start of the regional football tournament, set to bring together teams from across the Arab world.
The opening ceremony was attended by senior members of the Qatari leadership, including Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani, Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani, and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, along with several ministers and dignitaries.
The launch highlighted Qatar’s continued commitment to hosting major international sporting events and strengthening its position as a global sports hub.
