Your favorite detective with the peculiar accent is back on the case. Netflix has unveiled the official teaser for Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, the third chapter in the popular whodunit saga. Daniel Craig reprises his role as Benoit Blanc, this time investigating a murder so audacious it seems to defy logic.
The plot plunges Blanc into the world of ecclesiastical intrigue. He is called to solve the murder of a Catholic priest, played by Josh Brolin, who meets his demise in the middle of a service. The teaser trailer sets a gripping tone, promising a mystery packed with suspense and a gallery of colorful characters who may have blood on their hands.
The film continues the tradition of assembling a stellar cast, with Glenn Close, Kerry Washington, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Cailee Spaeny, Andrew Scott, and Josh O’Connor joining Craig and Brolin. Fans will also notice a different look for Blanc, who now has longer hair and favors a three-piece suit, signaling a potential evolution for the character.
The movie has already been screened for critics and audiences at its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. For everyone else, the wait is almost over. Wake Up Dead Man will hit select theaters on November 26th and will be available to stream worldwide on Netflix from December 12th.
